Carol Seydewitz
MS, LPC, ATRL-BC

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist, Carol combines her clinical training in talk therapy with her expertise in experiential therapies to assist her clients in discovering how to feel happy and experience fewer symptoms. Her clinical psychotherapy orientation is informed by an eclectic blend including Eastern philosophies, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and client-centered approaches. Carol is trained in EMDR and play therapy and is experienced working with children from age 4 and older, adolescents, teens, adults, and couples. Carol specializes in providing trauma-informed care for clinical issues of (but not limited to) sexual, physical, and emotional abuse and neglect, anxiety, mood, behavioral disorders, ADD/ADHD, and stress reduction. Carol is skilled in providing education in relationship dynamics and parenting skills. She is a parent to three adult sons, loves physical fitness and is a student of Vipassana meditation. She received her undergraduate degree in Art as Applied to Science from UW-Milwaukee and her Master of Art Therapy from Mount Mary College.
