Carolyn (Candy) Short

Carolyn is state licensed and has practiced psychotherapy in Wisconsin since 1980. Having founded and managed for several years a rural satellite counseling office, she is accustomed to a diverse caseload with a wide variety of problem situation and relationship issues. Serving individual adults, couples (traditional and non-traditional), and families of all origins and compositions, she is an experienced, comfortable, versatile and skilled clinician. In addition, she has been married to a fellow social worker for 40 years; together they have raised four children, three adopted transracially and transculturally. That background has lent richness to Carolyn’s professional education from Ohio State University. She has a warm, welcoming personality, clearly enjoying a long, productive career of caring for those in need.
