Dennis Neuenfeldt
LCSW, LMFT

Dennis is a graduate of the University Of Michigan School Of Social Work, and has extensive behavioral health experience in inpatient and outpatient settings. For 30 years he served as Director of Residential Services at Lad Lake, Inc. He provided and supervised programs for seriously emotionally disturbed youth and their families. His therapy experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults experiencing personality, mood, and oppositional disorders, ADHD, trauma, anger management, grief and relationship problems. Dennis is a graduate of the Family Institute of Chicago, a 2 year postgraduate training internship in family therapy. He has practiced family therapy, trained and supervised family therapists. He is also intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. DBT applies scientifically validated treatment which combines cognitive-behavioral intervention for emotional regulation and reality testing with concepts of distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindful awareness.
