Jim Gerber

Jim Gerber is a psychotherapist who enjoys working with a broad age range of people, from 4 years old on up. He provides individual therapy, play therapy as well as well as couples, marital and family therapy. His areas of expertise include coping with stress, mood disorders and anxiety disorders, grief, and behavioral problems, anger management problems, ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder), Aspergers disorder as well as health related issues and chronic illness-both physical and mental.

Jim's approach is patient centered and solution-focused which, while addressing the specific problems an individual or family presents, utilizes each person's unique capabilities and skills to reach their goals. His personal style is warm and accepting. He has been an AAMFT supervisor and has taught clinical skills at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Graduate School of Social Welfare.
