Julie Rupena Reynolds

Child and Family Psychotherapist Julie has many years experience working with families. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor by the State of Wisconsin and the National Board of Certified Counselors. Julie sees clients from ages 3 yrs old through adulthood. Most of her work has been with children and their families whom are experiencing crises. She has worked in residential (St Rose Youth and Family Service), inpatient (Rogers Memorial Hospital) and outpatient facilities. Primary treatment focus includes: Adoption/Foster Care Issues; Parental Abandonment; Play Therapy, Attachment Issues; Divorce; ADHD/ADD; Grief/Loss; Depression; Parenting; Behavioral Concerns; School issues and Abuse Victims. Julie creates a safe environment for children, teens and adults to express themselves. She encourages communication between family members and motivates families to work together for a healthy outcome. Teenage years can be challenging, including getting a teenager to agree to therapy. Julie understands this process and allows for the teenager to express his/her likes and dislikes in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Her down to earth personality, acceptance of diversity, and patience is practiced with each client to ensure a safe environment to encourage expression of feelings.
