Leticia is a licensed therapist and has been in the field of Behavioral Medicine for over 14 years. She provides a warm, supportive and safe environment, helping women take control of their lives and regain a sense of hope. She is passionate about working with women and women's issues including: personal and work/life balance, stress, troubled or unhealthy relationships, trust, intimacy, self esteem, confidence, assertiveness and poor self-care (putting your needs last). Leticia is committed to helping women overcome life's multiple challenges teaching them practical problem-solving skills that can be utilized in all areas of life. As a Bilingual/Bicultural counselor, Leticia brings these skills to her work with Hispanic women in the community. Leticia has extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, career/life transitions, grief/loss, anger management, gay/lesbian issues, divorce, and parenting. Her clinical approach is eclectic and draws from solution-focused, strength-based and cognitive behavioral therapies.
In her work as a consultant for Lifestyle Change programs for ProHealth Care, The American Heart Association and local medical clinics, Leticia uses life-coaching techniques to help women achieve their goals of improved health and physical and emotional well-being. She works with women to address the underlying issues that prevent them from accomplishing their goals. Summarizing her philosophy, Leticia states, "I want to help women become a stronger, healthier, more confident version of themselves."
