Melanie Morgan
MS, LPC

Melanie is a licensed professional counselor who enjoys working with children/adolescents ages 4-16. She received her master's degree in counseling from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2004 with an emphasis in community counseling and has subsequently received advanced training in the treatment of trauma. She has been working in a child/adolescent day treatment program for the past 7 years and was a founding member of the team that developed the trauma program at Rogers Memorial Hospital. Melanie has interest in treating children who have been traumatized including physical abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence and grief. She has worked extensively with children in the foster care system who are working towards reunification or adoption.  Other interests in include PTSD, Reactive Attachment Disorder, school issues, anxiety, depression, divorce, anger management and ADHD.  Melanie believes establishing a relationship with her clients and utilizing play therapy, CBT, family systems and a strength based approach to counseling.
