Rita Brafford
LCSW, SAC

Rita Brafford is a master's degree prepared psychotherapist with state certification in clinical social work and in substance abuse counseling. Rita received her master's degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1994 with an emphasis in the study of marriage and family therapy. Rita has primarily worked with families, adolescents, people with substance abuse disorders and people with eating disorders. Rita has also completed training in EMDR, a form of treatment that targets traumatic experiences. Rita integrates mindfulness meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy into her practices with clients. Other areas of practice include trauma, depression and anxiety.
