group is designed to help teens identify
destructive thinking and behavioral patterns and
offers insight to members as to how to cope with
distressing events, feelings and issues in their
lives. The focus of the group will be
effective problem identification and solving
skills, anger management, assertiveness
training, and communication skills.

This
group is designed to aid women in identifying
areas in which women struggle setting limits,
saying no, and expressing their thoughts and
feelings in effective ways. The goals of
this group are to help decrease depression and
anxiety, to help increase a sense of control
over their lives, and to gain support from other
women. The group is based on the book
“Boundaries” by J. Townsend and H. Cloud.

Youth
Abuse and Addiction Program
Ages
14 to 17 |

The
purpose of this program is to serve youth who
are or may have abused alcohol and/or drugs or
come from homes where addiction or abuse of
alcohol and/or drugs may be present. This
group aids teens in gaining insight to the
stages of addiction and abuse and to identify
how substance use can have negative impact on
their life. We will also address coping
skills to remain substance free.

and Drug Abuse Program

18 and older |

This
program will offer insights to chemical
dependency issues such as symptoms, patterns of
use, stages of addiction, and how chemical abuse
and dependency affects family members as well as
the individual abusing chemicals. This
program will also address the process of
recovery, tools to recovery and outside support
available.
